TerraNest ("we", "our", or "us") processes personal data to provide verified property search, agent accreditation, and inspection scheduling services in Nigeria.
- Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, and password hash.
- Tenant Preferences: Saved listings, search filters, budget ranges, and preferred locations.
- Agent Accreditation Files: NIN numbers, CAC certificates, business address proof, and passport photos.
- Transaction Records: Payment receipts processed securely via Paystack gateways.
2. How We Use Your Data
We use your data strictly to operate our verified marketplace, prevent real estate fraud, schedule property inspections, and enforce compliance rules.
3. NIN & CAC Identity Data Processing
National Identity Numbers (NIN) and Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) business certificates submitted during agent verification are encrypted using AES-256 and stored in compliant vault databases. They are never published or shared publicly.
4. Data Sharing & Agent Encrypted Routing
When you request a property inspection, your name and phone number are routed directly to the assigned accredited agent via encrypted proxy channels.
5. Bank-Grade Security & Encryption
All network communications on TerraNest use SSL/TLS encryption. Databases are protected with automated firewalls, regular vulnerability scans, and restricted access logs.
6. Your NDPR & Statutory Privacy Rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR 2023), you have the right to access, rectify, port, or request erasure of your personal records from TerraNest servers.
8. Data Retention & Account Deletion
You may request permanent account deletion via privacy@terranest.ng. Upon request, all personal identifiers are erased within 30 days.
