Welcome to TerraNest ("Platform"). These Terms of Service govern all access to property search, agent accreditation, and inspection calendar services provided via terranest.ng.
By creating an account or searching property listings on TerraNest, you agree to abide by all terms contained herein and Nigerian property regulations.
2. Agent Accreditation & Verification Rules
All real estate agents and property managers listing units on TerraNest must maintain active NIN validation and CAC business registrations.
Agents on TerraNest are strictly forbidden from charging inspection fees, viewing taxes, or registration forms to house hunters.
3. Tenant Protection & Inspection Guarantees
House hunters booking inspections via TerraNest are entitled to guaranteed appointment slots without upfront payments.
4. Zero Hidden Fees Policy
All price listings on TerraNest must explicitly separate Annual Rent, Caution Deposit, Service Charge, and Legal/Agency Fees prior to tenancy agreement signing.
5. Rental Payments & Digital Receipts
Payments processed through TerraNest receive 256-bit encrypted Paystack digital receipts and automated lease records.
6. Property Accuracy & Image Standards
Photos uploaded to TerraNest must represent the current physical state of the property. Filtered, digitally exaggerated, or copied stock photography is prohibited.
7. Platform Liability & Disputes
TerraNest operates as an accredited property tech marketplace. We facilitate verification and scheduling, while final lease contracts are executed between tenant and landlord/accredited agent.
8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Lagos State Tenancy Law.
